تقويم مقرر الجغرافيا للصف الحادي عشر
في ضوء معايير الجمعية الجغرافية الأمريكية

ملخص الدراسة:
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقويم مقرر الجغرافيا للصف الحادي عشر وتحددت مشكلة الدراسة بالسؤال الرئيس التالي :
- ما التقديرات التقويمية لمقرر الجغرافيا للصف الحادي عشـر فـي ضـوء معـايير الجمعيـة الجغرافية الأمريكية ؟ وانبثق من السؤال الرئيس الأسئلة الفرعية التالية :
1- ما معايير الجمعية الجغرافية الأمريكية ؟
2- ما التقديرات التقويمية لمقرر الجغرافيا للصف الحادي عشـر فـي ضـوء معـايير الجمعيـة الجغرافية الأمريكية ؟
ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قامت الباحثة باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلـي واتبعـت الخطـوات التالية:
- ترجمة قائمة معايير الجمعية الجغرافية الأمريكية ( GNS) ، بالإضافة إلي الاطلاع علي بعـض الدراسات السابقة المفيدة في هذا المجال ، حيث تكونت قائمة المعايير في صورتها النهائيـة مـن (18) معيارا رئيسا و (56) معيارا فرعيا ، موزعة علي ستة مجالات (العالم من منظور - مكاني الأماكن والأقاليم - النظم الطبيعية - النظم البشرية - البيئة والمجتمع - استخدامات الجغرافيا).
- تم تحليل مقرر الجغرافيا للصف الحادي عشر في ضوء معايير الجمعية الجغرافيـة الأمريكيـة وقد تحققت فيه المعايير بنسب مختلفة .
لا وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية :
أظهرت نتائج تحليل مقرر الجغرافيا في ضوء معايير الجمعية الجغرافية الأمريكية أن أكثر المعايير توافر هي المعيار الأول والخامس والسابع وفيما يلي عرض لهذه المعايير ونسبها المئوي ، المعيار الأول : كيفية استخدام الخرائط وأدوات التمثيل الجغرافي التكنولوجي ، باعلي نسبة وهـي 17.38%، ثم المعيار الخامس وهو بيان كيف يصنع الإنسان إقليمه الخاص وفقاً لظروف المكـان بنسبة 16.11%، ثم المعيار السابع بنسبة 11.81% وهو العوامل الطبيعية التـي تشـكل مظـاهر سطح الأرض .
أما ادني المعايير توافر المعيار العاشر بنسبة 1.68% وهو خصـائص وتوزيـع الأقـاليم الحضارية في العالم ثم يليه المعيار السادس عشر تغير القيمة النسبية للموارد المادية وفقاً لتوزيعهـا وأهميتها بنسبة ضعيفة وهي 1.52%، ثم أدني المعايير توافر المعيار الثاني وهو استخدام الخرائط الذهنية في تنظيم معلومات عن الناس والأماكن والبيئة في إطارها المكاني ، بنسـبة لا تزيـد عـن 0.21%.
وبناء على ما أسفرت عنه نتائج الدراسة فقد أوصت الباحثة بمجموعـة مـن التوصـيات للقائمين علي مناهج ومقررات التعليم عامة والجغرافيا للصف الحادي عشر خاصة ، خصوصا المعلمين الذين من شانهم الإسهام في تحسين أداء الطلبة .
Abstract
Evaluation of the 10th grade geography curriculum in light of the criteria of the Geographical Society of America.
This study aims at evaluating the Geography curriculum of the 11th Grade. The problem of study was identified by the following question.
What are the evaluative estimations of the geography curriculum of 11th grade in light of the criteria of the American Society of Geography?
Several sub-questions emerged from this main question:
1. What are the standards of the Geographic Society of America?
2. What are evaluative estimations of the Geography curriculum of 11th grade in light of the criteria for the Geographical Society of America?
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and followed the following steps:
- Translation of the list of standards of the American Geographical Society (GNS), in addition to approaching some useful literature in this area, where the list of standards developed to its final form of (18) key standards and (56) sub-standard divided into six areas (the World from a spatial perspective - places and regions - natural systems- human systems- environment and society-uses of geography).
- Analysis of the geography curriculum for the 11th grade in light of the list of standards. It has been found that, the standards were achieved in the curriculum but with different proportions.
The study came up with the following results:
The results of the geography curriculum analysis, in the light of standards of the Geographical Society of America, showed that the first criterion, fifth and seventh is a high availability by. Presentation of these standards and their percentages are following, the first criterion: how to use maps and the technological geography modeling tools has the highest percentage of (17.38%), then the fifth criterion: how can man make his own region in accordance with the conditions of the place (16.11%) then, the seventh criterion: natural factors which are phenomena of the Earth surface (11.81%).
The minimum standards that have been available from the standpoint of geography teachers, the tenth criterion that the characteristics and distribution of civil regions in the world available (1.68%) and, then the sixteen that changing the relative value of financial resources in accordance with the distribution and importance (1.52%) and then the second criterion: the use of mental maps to organize information about the people, places and the environment in its spatial arena (0.21%).
The availability of standard minimum standards weightlifter Fourteenth how human efforts modify the natural environment(57.11%) ten the characteristics and distributions of civil regions in the world( 56.00%), and then the second how to use mental maps to clarify the information on the people and the environment(52.22%)
Based on the results of the study, the researcher came out with several recommendations for those in charge of curricula in general and those working on the geography curriculum for the 11th grade in specific, especially teachers who would contribute to improve the performance of students.
