Abstract
spatial analysis of dry weather Patterns over the highlands of south-western Saudi Arabia–applied study
The present study aims to determine the spatial and the temporal, changes through statistical analysis of the daily climate data for the a period from coveins twenty-three consecutive years the year 1985 to 2008, to study the interaction of climatic elements and identified models of weather air stations to mountainous southwestern Saudi Arabia.
Using climate data for the study area was conceived systematic geographical to study the climatic analysis aims to contribute to the development of the total geographical studies of applied and to identify the natural features affecting the geographic identily through a comparat we study of air temporal an spatial dry weather model changes over the highlands of south western Saudi Arabia.
The study include seven chapters, chapter I ؛the introduction in clude the geographic aspects of the study area, Chapter II included a theoretical framework,While Chapter III included a comparative analysis of changes in the annual frequency of dry weather patterns the meteorological stations of the study ,chapter IV included the annual changes to weather patterns resulting from the presumption of air drought south western saudi Arabia.Chapter V includes changed in the spatial patterns of air in dry weather over(winter and summer )؛chapter VI focused on the spatial variability of the weather patterns of drought in the air transitional seasons (spring and autumn).The study reviewed in Chapter VII the findings and recommendations.
The results of this study stressed on the importance of variation and differences among the stations of the study area for the models of dry weather depending on their seasond changes and annual, the continental contmentality can not remove marine of the Red Sea, where the southe western highlanels of the kingdom are affected by geographical location and terrain.
