ABSTRACT
Quantitative
Distribution Maps considered of the best tools to know the size of the spatial
variation, clarify the spatial relationships of
the phenomena studied, and it make scientific explanation easier for the
researcher. The studies problem summarized in how to preparation quantitative distribution maps depending
on the spatial metadata by using the program ARC MAP v.10 in order to know how the manufacturing
distributed with it Three variables (the number of factories and the number of
workers and invested capital) in the (GCC) countries according to 2015 data. the
aim of study is interpret the size of the spatial variation of the
manufacturing industries among the first countries of the (GCC) countries, and
among administrative regions of each country separately Second, Depending on
the program outputs of the maps, which were the most important research and
study tools. it has been adopted inductive approach to a major study.
The study included three axes represent the first concept of the (GCC) countries location for the world and neighboring countries, locational characteristics, and the concept of quantitative distributions maps for manufacturing, international importance and classification manufacturing, The mechanism for the use of GIS in the manufacturing of the study area data representation through the production of distributions quantitative maps have detailed steps. While the second axis reflects the analysis of the elements of the manufacturing industries and the current reality in the (GCC) countries and dependent variables in the study, the third axis distribution of manufacturing variables in the (GCC) countries as well as by administrative regions of each country separately. The study showed that the program ARC MAP capability and high efficiency in the preparation of distributions quantitative maps easily, clarity and high accuracy, the study revealed that Saudi Arabia has acquired is the first in a number of factories, workers and capital ratios 41,4% and 55,8% and 55,5% respectively, and the UAE came in second only to the number of factories and workers at rates 35,6% and 25,1% ; in third place after the capital of Qatar by 9,1% , Oman occupies the third place in terms of the number of factories increased by 9,4%; and fifth in terms of the number of workers increased by 4,9%, and fourth in terms of capital by 6,1% . converge on the number of factories and the number of workers between the other three countries, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain variables ratios, as well as similar Oman with them in terms of the number of workers, with regard to capital, the widening disparity is evident in the largest among the six nations. And it is linked to the industry at the beginning of the discovery and export of oil in the (GCC) countries; as well as natural gas, and that one of the reasons for different size spatial variation among them is the time factor; any length of time, which began and continued in it do and the evolution of manufacturing industries, as well as the amount of oil produced .
